Persistent Recruitment Process 2019

Persistent Systems recruitment Process involves 3 rounds. They are:

Round 1: Online/Written Test

Persistent systems online/written test pattern consists of 60 MCQ questions which need to be solved in 1 hour of duration. The test doesn't contain any negative marking. Also,Persistent uses its own platform for the assessment.

In this assessment, you will be tested on various topics. Some of the topics/subjects that you need to concentrate on are given below.

Important things to keep in mind for Persistent online/written test:

  • Your knowledge of the fundamentals of technical subjects will be tested. Some topics to keep in mind while preparing for Persistent recruitment process are C(mainly pointers, operators, precedence, etc), C++(OOP concepts, overloading), Data Structures (Stack, Queue, Lists, Trees, Graphs), OS concepts, Networking concepts (protocols), DBMS (Normal forms, queries are important), Testing.
  • You will have a max of 1 minute for a question. So you need to be really quick while answering.
  • This is an elimination round. Only if you clear the cutoff, you will be able to make it to the next round.

Round 2: Coding

In this round, 1 coding question based on Data Structures and Algorithms will be asked. This needs to be solved in around 20-30 minutes. Round 3: Essay/Paragraph Writing

In Persistent systems essay writing round, students will be given one topic to write on in 10 minutes of duration. The students are expected to write about 200 words without any grammatical mistakes.

Make sure you try to implement all the basic functions of a linked list i.e. Add to last, insert at a position, delete from a position, etc.)

The HR round is more or less a formality, you just have to be confident and clear in your English communication.

  3. What are your future plans
  4. What do you know about us?
