TCS candidate registration and application process is given step by step here. Follow these steps and register now.
Step 1: Visit TCS Next step portal
- Click on this link to go to TCS Next step – https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/
- For a new registration, click on register now.
Step 2: Select IT
Note: If you have wrongly created your profile under BPS, you will need to create your profile under ‘IT’ once again using your alternate email ID.
Step 3: Fill in the Registration form
Fill in your details like name, DOB, gender, email id, mobile number, YOP, qualification, test center location, password, and security question. Once you have filled in these details, click on submit button.
Note: Your registered email id and mobile number will be used for further communication regarding interview process and results. So kindly fill in these details with utmost care. Also, you cannot change the Test Location once you have submitted the Form.
Step 4: Reference ID generation
The generated CT Reference ID and password will be emailed to your registered mail id.
Step 5: Login to TCS Next step using your credentials
Step 6: To Fill Application Form (Click on ‘Application Form’ from side menu)
Step 7: Fill up your Personal Details
Step 8: Fill up Academic and Work Experience Details
Step 9: Fill up Other Details
Step 10: Application form Preview & Declaration
Check the application form details once again and agree to the declaration.
Step 10: Download the Application Form
As a final step of TCS Next step registration, you can download the submitted application as a pdf.

No, you can’t make any changes.
You can edit the details by clicking “Edit Application form” and updating the required details.
Only 1 profile needs to be created per candidate. A duplicate profile should not be created. You will need to write to firstname.lastname@example.org for deletion of your duplicate profile.
Please note, you need to enter minimum 12 months upto maximum 16 months in your X (10th) std. Course duration details.
Similarly, you need to enter a minimum 12 months up to maximum 16 months in your XII (12th) std. Course duration details.
For example: For 10th/12th std., please enter your Course duration as 01/06/YYYY to 30/06/YYYY.
If you are not able to edit the Full time/Part time course in the Application form, you will need to create your profile once again using your alternate email ID.
