TCS NQT 2020 did conduct their registration process and it was mandatory in order to apply for the TCS National Qualifier Test. Follow these below steps to apply for TCS National Qualifier Test 2020. Make sure you carefully go through each step and do it side by side.
Visit TCS careers official website to apply for TCS NQT hiring or Click here to visit the website. You will land up on the below-shown page.
As shown in the above picture,click on the register now option. You will be redirected to TCS next step portal as shown below.

Note: If you have wrongly created your profile under BPS, you will need to create your profile under 'IT' once again using your alternate email ID.
Fill in your details like name, DOB, gender, email id, mobile number, YOP, qualification, test center location, password, and security question. Once you have filled in these details, click on submit button.
Note: Your registered email id and mobile number will be used by TCS for further communication regarding the interview process and results of TCS National Qualifier Test. So kindly fill in these details with utmost care. Also,you cannot change the Test Location once you have submitted the Form.
The generated CT Reference ID and password will be emailed to your registered mail id.
Using the credentials sent to your email id, now login to next step portal again - https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/
Check the application form details once again and agree to the declaration. Once you click on submit the application form, you will see a pop up asking if you want to apply for the drive.
As a final step of TCS Next step registration, you can download the submitted application as a pdf.
Now, you can apply for TCS on campus or TCS off campus drives. Keep checking our TCS off campus drives page for more updates on TCS recruitment.
Once done, make sure you apply for the drive. This is the last step to register for TCS National qualifier test. Yet it the most important step of all. Without this, your application will not be considered.
As soon as your application is done, log out of NextStep portal. Now login again and you will find the 'Apply for drive' option on the left-hand side menu.
1. Can I make changes to my profile as I have made some mistakes in my profile?
No, you can’t make any changes.
2. I already have my CT/DT number. I need to update my marks/CGPA in my application form. How can I do so?
You can edit the details by clicking “Edit Application form” and updating the required details.
3. I have created 2 profiles on Next step. What should I do now?
Only 1 profile needs to be created per candidate.A duplicate profile should not be created. You will need to write to email@example.com for deletion of your duplicate profile.
4. I am getting an error while updating my X (10th) or XII (12th) Standard details in the application form. What should I do?
Please note, you need to enter minimum 12 months upto maximum 16 months in your X (10th) std. Course duration details.
Similarly, you need to enter a minimum 12 months up to maximum 16 months in your XII (12th) std. Course duration details.
For example: For 10th/12th std., please enter your Course duration as 01/06/YYYY to 30/06/YYYY.
5. I am not able to edit the Full Time/Part time course in my Application Form. What should I do?
If you are not able to edit the Full time/Part time course in the Application form, you will need to create your profile once again using your alternate email ID.
